Personality: Caldwell, or just Cald, grew up a hard and determined worker. He always had a light spirit though and seemed to always be smiling while working in the Grain fields of District Nine. He remained so till the death of His sister, which emotionally crushed him. He has built himself back up over the years though and returned the same friendly heartwarming boy, but now filled with vengeance and a deadly purpose.
History Cald has lived a hard life in the grain fields, working hard alongside his fellow townsmen. As is the polices of the District, Cald stated in the fields at the tender age of ten and has been toiling ever-since. He was always happy though and had a infectious laugh, brightening himself and those around him. His life fell to pieces though when his Older sister was chosen for tribute in the 34th annual hunger games. He witnessed the horror of her violent demise at the hand of a Carrier tribute and was crushed emotionally. For two years he never spoke and lost the joy that had so carelessly flowed from him.
The years following his break down were constructive though. His happy and bright personality returned to him, but his grief and anger remained deep within and he was filled with a terrible resolve, vowing that he would volunteer for tribute when the time was ready and avenge his fallen sister. Cald now trains as a Career, improving the blade skills he learned with a sickle and preparing his mind for the stresses of combat. He will enter the Games and return a victor . . . for his sister.
