Personality: Janessa is hard headed. She is stealthy and quick on her feat due to her small stature of 5’4” and 96 lbs. She’s an extremely fast sprinter and likes to take the leader position in activities. She’s smart, outgoing, and has a way of reading people’s emotions. She is skilled with many different weapons such as knives, spears, bow and arrows, and even fist fighting. Her weakness is her family; she hates to see them in pain.
History: Janessa Light Laeyden grew up as the oldest of five. She works as a babysitter for the families in her district. She attends a small school where she holds one of the highest grades. She takes the tesserae for all of her family members and doesn’t have a problem with it. She has experience with many weapons including knives, spears, bows and arrows, and even fist fighting; this is because her father taught her before he disappeared when she was 10. No matter how hard her mother tries, she can never keep my brothers out of trouble, which causes the Peacemakers to contantly arrive at their door step with complaints from agitated residents. Sometimes it even end up with the Peacemakers confiscating some of our goods. She knows how scary and deadly the Hunger Games is, but wants to compete anyways to win and end the suffering of her family; and maybe even find out what happened to her dad.
